Rugbyfit 1 is designed to teach aspiring rugby players and coaches how to improve speed, agility and power for rugby. Four specific training routines (Speed, Speed-Agility, Speed-Power, Agility-Power) are presented and clearly explained in educational video clips.
All of the media is included in the application you download, which means that you don’t need internet access after your purchase it, meaning iPod touch users have the full experience even without wifi access, and iPhone users don’t need to worry about using data on their plans. That is to say, that the application is completely self-contained and does not rely on streaming video from servers. This does increase the size of the initial download to 90MB however, so we advise purchasing and downloading on your broadband-connected computer.
Importantly, the training sessions are designed by an international rugby conditioning coach, Damian Marsh, now the coordinator of athletic performance for the ACT Brumbies.
The training sessions are also highly applicable for all football codes and field sports.
What this is NOT
It is not another database of exercises with limited educational and training outcome. There is no diet database, no online media that your mobile phone service wont display, no calorie counter, it's just proven training to increase speed, agility and power.
