Dean Benton, Manager
Dean has a long history in high performance sport, and particularly with the football codes. Most recently as Director of Physical Performance at the Brisbane Broncos, Dean brings a thoroughness to to his work and an unmatched enthusiasm for the improvement of physical performance.
Dean’s specialist areas include:

John Pryor, Media & Coach Education
John has worked as a sport scientist and strength and conditioning coach at international level for over 15 years. He has worked in full time roles for the ACT Brumbies, NSW Waratahs and the Wallabies. At the junior level, he spends most time developing young football (soccer) players.
John is very hands on as a conditioner, believing strongly that only doing is knowing. More recently, he has developed extensive expertise in technology and new media, and is passionate about helping athletes and coaches be the best they can be.
John’s specialist areas include:
- speed, power and agility training
- wrestling and combat sports applied to the football codes
- coach and athlete education
- new technology in sport
- use of new media in sports education

David Bick, Injury Management
David has recently return from Turkey where he guided Harry Kewell’s preparation for the 2010 World Cup.
For seven years, David has traveled the world as Team Physiotherapist to our Australian Rugby Union Team – the Wallabies. And as a former Australian Under 21 representative himself, David’s private clients read like a who’s who of Australian Champions – George Gregan (Rugby), Ian Thorpe (Swimming), Matt Shirvington (Track and Field), Jamie Dwyer (Hockey), Alyson Annan (Hockey) and Melanie Roche (Softball) just to name a few.
Before the Wallabies, David travelled domestically and internationally for two years as Team Physiotherapist for NSW rugby team The Waratahs, twelve years with the Olympic men’s and women’s Track and Field, Softball, Gymnastics, and Hockey Teams, and another eight years as Team Physiotherapist at the NSW Institute of Sport for Softball, Gymnastics and Track and Field. In 2000 David caught the eye of royalty, being awarded the Australian Sports Medal for service to Sport by Her Majesty the Queen. |

Gustavo Machado Pinto, Wrestling and Speed Coach
Born in Brazil, pocket rocket “Guga” is a former professional footballer who also holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiutsu and Capoeira. He is an expert on the use of his martial arts for the football codes.
He has worked exclusively with some of the best players in the country from all football codes. Often giving away 40kg or more in body weight at wrestling sessions, he is living proof that technique matters.
Guga’s speciailist skills include:
- physical development for juniors
- wrestling/grappling skills
- speed and agility training

Andrew Christiansen
Andrew has been playing football (soccer) at the highest level for the past 10 years, representing clubs both locally and internationally. He has a strong knowledge of football as well as experience in rehabilitation, returning to the field after multiple surgeries and other injuries.
Since completing his qualifications in fitness Andrew has joined the FootballFit team in his home town Sydney. |

Roscoe McCord
As technology manager for Fit3k, Roscoe keeps FootballFIT ahead of the game in terms of advanced training systems and data management.
Roscoe has a background in 3D modelling and animation, and has also spent time in commercial video production. A self-taught programmer, Roscoe has developed many new training technologies for Fit3k and FootballFIT.
He offsets his office based work by sampling all FootballFIT’s functional and power training methods, and is currently closing in on a 90cm vertical jump. |
